Don Dutton Agency may provide SMS and MMS messaging for customers and prospective customers who voluntarily choose to receive text messages from us.

SMS/MMS messages may relate to your insurance inquiry or account, including:

Verbal SMS/MMS Consent

We may obtain SMS/MMS consent verbally during a telephone conversation or in person at our office.

Before obtaining verbal consent, our staff will explain that:

Opting Out of SMS/MMS

When you opt out, your customer record will be marked not to contact by SMS/MMS. We may send one final message confirming that your opt-out request has been processed.

After your opt-out is processed, we will not send additional SMS/MMS messages covered by that consent unless you subsequently provide new consent to receive them.

Opting out of SMS/MMS does not cancel an insurance policy or prevent you from communicating with Don Dutton Agency through other available methods, including telephone and email.

6. Security of Text Messages and Email

Standard SMS, MMS, and email communications are not guaranteed to be secure or confidential.

Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, or similarly sensitive information by ordinary SMS/MMS or unencrypted email.

Contact our office if you need an appropriate method for transmitting sensitive information.
